Bridge Clock: Customs Roundabout
Chat in car with daughter:
- Wouldn't it be great to have an object like that outside your flat window?
- It doesn't tell the right time.
*End of conversation.
True, it seems to be 2.25 hours behind, but still a beautiful tower and Clock.
Gifted in 1910 to Stirling, by the Provost, David Bayne. It is not in its original position, and how they moved such a beast is beyond me. It sits within a stone's throw of Stirling Bridge (not the actual battle one, the modern version).
I like the tower and the clock very much: simple design, and functional (when the time is correct).
