Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4 - Day 25

This new deli/farm shop & cafe opened recently, just a couple of minutes down the road, listed in the Sunday Times as one of the top 30 farm shops in the UK! 

A sunny start to the day so decided it was about time the Alcatraz Gang had a mini outing to the farm shop for an alfresco cuppa. Well, that was the plan! One inmate didn’t feel up to going so just two of us set out. As I opened the front door it started to drizzle, by the time we got to the café it was raining properly and we got soaked just getting from the car to the shop. The indoor café was packed so we decided to just browse the shop which was full of colourful and exotic goodies, but oh so expensive. In the end I just bought a packet of Orkney Oatcakes, a favourite of mine after a holiday in the Orkneys, many moons ago. 

After that a quick trip to the post office, then just as we arrived home, it stopped raining and the sun came out! Oh well, c’est la vie, or more accurately, c’est ma vie!! Another muggy, sleepy afternoon of 21 degrees.

PS Was meant to be seeing my Bus Challenge friend today but she is now having to self-isolate, for the second time, as her daughter was pinged after going out for pizza in Bath.
