Critical Path Analysis

A lesson in Critical Path Analysis for me today.

With several days of dry and not excessively hot weather forecast I thought that it would be a good time to treat the front door with its overdue treatment of preservative and colour.

Having done one coat the door needed to be left ajar while it dried. Which meant that I couldn't get out for a walk, and I discovered afterwards that today is Elephant Day, and I was unable to get out to snap another elephant. A good Critical Path Analysis would have told me to go for the walk before doing the door.
