Low Tide

I had a working morning. She was in charge of ensuring she completed her necessary tasks. And by 11.45 we were ready to go! We spent a lovely afternoon on the beach with my cousin and hubby. Its been quite a long time since we've just been to the beach at Scarborough. We walked along it together in April, but a "buckets, spades, paddling" type afternoon has been lacking. There was sea glass a plenty (we have a project that requires collecting much sea glass), there were fresh donuts and cups of tea, paddling, Frisbee, swimming and of course the essential Harbour Bar visit. It was back to my aunts for a lovely meal together and then we sprung ourselves on my parents. Katie got to see their new home for the first time, that they're in the process of moving in to so there's an extra today to mark that occasion!
