Wednesday: James and Mirka

Today was full - so much so, that that holiday weekend is a dim and distant memory.

I spent the day in Slovenia, then came back and went straight to a reception to mark 20 years of our scholarship programme.  Then on to dinner with the new Director of the British Council who is on a short visit before he transfers here from Tanzania in the summer.

The evening ended with shots (of the drink variety) in a smoky bar.  It was one of those situations where I felt like I should go, rather than wanting to.  On the right, you have my colleague, James, and Mirka.

I had a number of other shots (of the photo variety) that were probably better than this, including one of all our scholars lined up in a smiley, professional manner.  Who knows why I like this one best!  No accounting for taste, sometimes.
