Sunbathing

Having a cat sunbathing on the table is absolutely fine with me! You could say that it doesn't amount to a hill of beans!

This happened quite by accident. We'd been down to the Walled Garden this morning to pick peas and beans. The peas are coming to an end, but the runner beans are growing apace and what were small last week are pretty big this week. We picked only a pound of peas but another eight pounds of beans, so when we came home I tipped them out on the table to divide them up. Susie was quite unfazed by this disruption to her sleeping place. 

Half of this hill will go to Hope Kitchen on Monday morning and we'll try to get through the rest. I won't have to try very hard!

A very different day to yesterday. The wind has fortunately died down and the rain stopped - I spent some time in the garden this afternoon and have an ever-increasing pile of prunings and saplings which will have to be dealt with sometime!
