Diary of an Edinburgher

Beautiful blooms

JR went off to the gym, to begin working off the weight that she put on in London. I will just live with mine.

Though I was quite busy - I finished cutting the other half of the grass that I didn’t do before I went to London.

After that I did nothing much. JR took Archie out before going to the supermarket for a few essentials, and she made me take Archie out for a walk in the afternoon. I would quite happily sit all day, but she tells me that’s not good. I am quite reluctant to go walking as it’s painful, but at last I have a letter inviting me to physiotherapy. But it looks like the first ‘appointment’ is by phone… a fat lot of good that’ll be!

Jan and Maggie popped round with the key that they forgot to leave and to tell us again that she very much enjoyed staying in the flat with Archie. All good… perhaps another time…

In the afternoon Hazel popped over for a full debrief of our London trip. It was her son and his partner that we visited in their new flat in Islington.

Here are the beautiful birthday roses that Elizabeth brought last night.
