Happy feast day to all Marys, Maries, Maureens…….

Or any other name derived from Our Lady’s name!  It’s your feast day today.  I have wonderful memories of my Tante Marie who was always thoroughly spoilt on 15 August!  We were often in France then. My aunt loved St. Honoré, full of crème pâtissière!  She always ate too much and felt a bit ill afterwards!  It’s a really rich cake but oh so delicious!
