Happy Feast day!

15 August is the feast of the assumption of Our Lady into heaven.  It is the feast day of all Marys, Maries, Marias, also, I think  Maureen  etc.  So a happy feast day to you all!

The weather has broken and it is definitely cooler.  I dried a last lot of washing out on the line and had it in when it rained - for all of 5 minutes!  A very light but promising (?) rain!

This painting was done by my mother and is a copy of a well known painting as she has not signed it.
