Everyday I Write The Book

Greenwich

A day out, finally, after the trains and the weather last weekend stopped us doing anything. Went to the royal portraits exhibition, which TSM hadn’t seen but which she really liked and in my case really rewarded a second visit.

Found an amazing vegan curry house where we ate beautifully fragranced fresh food (see blip - a composite of two shots). It’s a genuinely street food focused place called hullabaloo https://hullabalooindian.com/Menu/10307/hullabaloo

Then did the markets, buying various bits and pieces. I went to a mudlarks stall run by a guy called Ian and got a little framed map of the Thames at Greenwich on which was mounted bits of pottery and a fragment of clay pipe dug out of the banks of the river. You can see his work here  https://urbanmakers.co.uk/makers/lighten-up-london/

Had coffee in the park then got the train back to London Bridge, from where we walked along Bankside and Gabriel’s wharf to Waterloo.

Fab day.
