Free and easy

Busy morning. Dejunking garage, which involved a lot of leg work (which is good for the step count).

Got rather depressed at the state of the world, particularly the impending humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. A post imperial policy disaster. So sad.

Coffee and shopping then a snooze in the garden. Afternoon naps come in many shapes and sizes; this one was refreshing and pleasant. We cooked a vegetable biryani then went to see Free Guy at the Everyman. Great fun. Rian Reynolds is very good; one of those movies packed with clever movie references.

There’s a running gag in the movie about taking off and putting on specs. This is my take …
