A busy Sunday

An early start as I resumed my voluntary shifts here in Cheltenham that I had been doing in Edinburgh until our move last month. A lovely family lunch with our daughter’s family. A further exploratory walk in the early evening and came across this former quarry now a lake with its own duck house. Desperately distressing scenes from Kabul this evening. I remember with enormous respect all those service personnel lives lost here.
