On line

Sitting in the garden of our rental home enjoying the warmth of the mid August sunshine. A biplane pootles overhead. A steam train whistles as it chuffs up the incline from Cheltenham Race Course station towards Toddington and Broadway. The test match ball by ball commentary from Lord’s burbles away on a valve radio (aka as an audio stream on my iPad! In summary an ageless typical English summer’s day.

In the slightly cooler late afternoon sunshine we did another circuit walk. So far none of these walks has involved any duplication.

ManU got their PL campaign off to to a flying start. I am sure when they go to play Brentford they will give a better account of themselves than Arsenal last night!

This evening we watched a thought provoking BBC Scotland programme about the two recent devastating fires at The Glasgow School of Art.

My Blip shows the G&W Heritage railway line just after a vintage diesel hauled train had rumbled and exhaust-smoked its way home on the final run of the day.
