Drove down to Essex today for a week long course on spinning and weaving with flax - ie linen. This will be interesting. It’s a summer school and one of a dozen or more parallel courses so a real buzz on campus today with gaggles of mature ladies settling in! I also finally got to drive the new A14 for the first time - the Huntingdon bypass was completed during last year’s summer lockdown. Oh and the pic is on my bike route through the village - I’m staying on a campsite 10 minutes ride away.
