Flax

Here we go… a full on day. Making our distaffs out of an assortment of broom handles, dowel, garden canes and cardboard. Then ‘dressing’ them with flax fibres all spread out - see all the distaffs and wheels in main pic. Then spinning - it’s certainly different. Extra shows the prepared flax we are using.
