The underside with a bud

Took a quick shot of this marigold when I was watering the flower baskets. I loved its colour against the sky.
Had another go at the floor today. It still have some places that need more work, one of these days. Not perfect, but I can live with it. I think. Thanks to those who left some suggestions.  :-)
Not smoky and much cooler today, and it was a treat to eat lunch outside without sweltering. There was even dew on the plants, and there are a few drops on the petals, although they aren't very visible.  First morning dew I've seen in ages.
