A handy location

The Rock Salt is beside the ferry dock, and a lot of its business comes from people waiting for ferries. I walked down to the village just after one ferry had left, and there were already quite a few cars in line for the next one in two hours. It's great that people can enjoy a meal, a drink or some treats while waiting.
A welcome change in the weather, much cooler with a bit of rain, not enough to write home about though. It was drizzling while I walked, didn't bother opening the umbrella I'd brought along just in case. I was really hoping for more rain. and maybe we'll get some overnight. I was so happy to get out for a walk, haven't had many recently as I recover from the bad fall I had a few weeks ago. Knee still hurts a bit and I know to take it easy, so my usual brisk walks won't happen for awhile. At least I can stroll but it's frustrating!!
Extra: mist and drizzle across the harbour; ripening quickly - a photo I meant to add as an extra yesterday and forgot!
