Has Spring finally sprung?

Considering yesterday was supposed to be the first day of Spring, we woke up to torrential rain which lasted well into the morning, and then in the afternoon we had sleety snow and it felt really cold!

However, this morning we've woken up to sunshine and although there are clouds around, we can see blue skies as well! Maybe today is the first day of Spring?? Wishful thinking - there's more snow forecast for this weekend!

I've got some primula's to put into my pots on the terrace, but with all this cold weather I've not risked putting them outside, and they're still sat in my kitchen. So I've decided to blip them to help brighten up the day.

I'm about to take Louis out and then I'm off to work, but tonight we're going to friends' for a Raclette for dinner. It was Cliona's birthday yesterday so it's a joint celebration for her, and another farewell for our friends Tracy and Ian who are leaving for Canada - after yesterday's farewell beer tour we're making sure they're getting a good send off!
