I think H must have been excited at the prospect of a day off with me; why else would she jump out of bed well before 7am?

We got a new school bag, checked out the book festival (smaller and quieter than usual), ate out and people-watched, went to the library (returning books mainly), and got some more fish medication. We were too late to save poor Ginger. Hopefully all of our efforts have stabilised the conditions in the tank and make sure that the rest are OK. Fingers crossed.
