Onion squash (potimarron)

I've been growing this cultivar (Uchiki Kuri or red kuri) since I started growing squashes and it's my favourite for autumn soup.

Onion squashes ("potimarrons") are very popular in France and I just love them.

This year has been a difficult one but I'm hoping I'll have 3 or 4 decent size ones to harvest. Here's hoping we get an Indian summer...
