Something like a Phenomenon

this is a Buoy  (Boy)  as we say in UK.  

It sits off the shore at Barassie and is a marker for boats.

I think.

It sits there, and sometimes I mistake it for a shark.  Or a Boat.  Or windsurfer.  Depends which glasses I have on. 

Looks amazing tonight eh?  Stormy clouds and rain washing through along North Ayrshire. 

We are having to do an allotment run every night this week. The sweet corn is almost ready and the squirrels and mice know.  We've lost 5 cobs already - we've laid six traps and we have enclosed the corn stalks in netting.   We've set the camera up.    Each night we go up - change the card in the camera; empty the traps, check what corn remains. 

last year they devastated the crop.  I'm hopeful that we will hold the majority of it this year.
