Sign of the Times

We saw this sign go up with some foreboding. Development of the Garendon lands has been promised for several years. And now it's going to happen in 2022.

Look who the builders are! Persimmon! Going by the travesty they have erected at Kingsgate in Shepshed, it does not promise well. And how can they call it Garendon Country Park? No way will it be a country park. I'm surprised they didn't call it a luxury development because it certainly won't be that. Just a multitude of boxes.

I walked the railway line this morning to see the Davis Estates on Tickow Lane, while Basil was having his grooming. It was longer than I had remembered. I did manage to photograph the areas I wanted to photograph.
