Almost a good day

Second day of our holiday and after visiting my mother yesterday, we went to Ticino today to visit my wife's aunt. While it was rather grey and cool here, blue skies and summer temperatures awaited us on the south side of the Alps. 

What dampened my mood was that I left my iPad on the Eurocity Zurich - Milan. I only noticed it much later, then locked the iPad from distance and followed it up using the lost function. I received a signal via Milan and hoped that it had been found there. When the signal continued via Piacenza, Parma, Modena to Bologna, I was no longer happy because I assumed that another traveller had packed (and stolen) it. The big surprise was that the iPad made the same journey back to Milan central station. My guess now is that a train attendant found it and carried it with him during his working day until he could hand it in. I hope to find out more tomorrow.
