Day 1 of Lockdown 4
NZ has gone from just 1 confirmed Delta variant Covid-19 case yesterday, to 10 cases today, with multiple venues for the contact tracers to be checking. It’s all centred on Auckland and the Coromandel at present, but may well be elsewhere already. Time will tell. People are trying to get back home in the 48 hours that the PM has allowed them but are finding it very difficult indeed. Many people are very stressed. However the police are mostly pleased with the compliance they’ve encountered.
The situation in NSW in Australia is appalling. That’s where our case originated.
