Shipwrights

We've nipped along the coast to do some  research into Mr P's father's family who lived in Southsea for many generations. . They were shipwrights back in the17 and 1800s so we've come to Boathouse 4 at the Historic Dockyard to learn what they did. The family name originates in the New Forest and my theory is that they left when Henry 8th expanded the dockyard and needed men who could work with wood. We also found a few graves. Successful day
