Pityful Pier
There seems to have been a theme of dilapidation running through this weeks entries, here is an old dilapidated and obviously disused pier on the North banks of the River Clyde.
I ran the gauntlet of climbing a wall wriggling under a fence and dodging some security guards to get this one! I felt like a commando but only in the sense that I was hiding furtively behind bushes and scrub trying to get my shot. The pier is a a very sorry sight but the textures and perspective appealed to me as the storm clouds rolled up the river. I liked the textures of the grass and the little reflection you can see under the pier.
The snow I fear is not far away, I thought it was spring.. maybe not!
