Physic Garden

Spent a pleasant afternoon in Trowbridge - I heard a relaxing sound  coming from their Physic Garden - a Hang was being played by a very interesting looking gent - it was great

Not sure how many folk will know what a Hang is - another name for it would be a Handpan based on the Caribbean's Steelpan instrument it is fascinating to listen too

The Physic Garden is a good place to rest awhile amongst the plants and flowers - these gardens could be found in monasteries large estate mansions and used for the growing of herbs for cooking, healing, and dyeing wool and fabric - Trowbridge was once a woollen producing town
