#Salts Mill

Working in Shipley this morning so, after completing important meetings and telephone calls, I went down to Saltaire village for a bite to eat and a quick look round.

Salt's Mill is now an art gallery, shopping and restaurant complex in the model village of Saltaire. The 1853 gallery takes its name from the date of the building. The gallery displays many paintings by local artist David Hockney.

When completed, it was the largest industrial building in the world by total floor area.

Afternoon at the Halifax office and back there again later this evening.
