A New Day....

If it were not for sunrises, I would have trouble finding a blip a day on this tiny island...but it seems that every morning is just a little different. Fog yesterday, fabulous clouds today with reflections everywhere. Morning usually brings a photo-op of some kind! 

It was another hot day - we seem to be in a hot streak..but at least today there was a breeze. The little FJ sailboat was taken out for a spin between chores; there was much swimming for relief...dinner was in the screened-in porch where it was somewhat cooler. Tonight it is cooling down somewhat, the water is calm, and the nearly full orange moon has risen and its reflection is dancing across the water...

It is dark and it isn't even 9:00 yet - the days are definitely getting noticeable shorter! Summer is coming to an end..way too soon! Better make the most of what's left of it! Like go out there right now and sit on the rocks and enjoy that moon!
