Acidanthera murielae

Early this year I splashed out on some quite posh dahlias and bulbs from Sarah Raven’s mail order collection. The dahlias have been fabulous and today this Acidanthera, cousin to the gladiolus, opened. It’s in a pot, has long, elegant, sword-like leaves and the loveliest arching flowers at about 4ft high. And it’s scented! I love it in colour (extra) but it’s very striking in mono.
