80th Birthday on 08-08

Setting off for an evening walk with Luna, tried to drive up a dead end road in the village, blocked by loads of people standing in the street. Found an alternative parking place and followed the sound of the brass band playing in the garden & on the street. Turned out to be someone celebrating their Eightieth birthday and I suspect may be someone connected to the musical world as the band seemed to come from some distance and not be our village group.

Sadly, we arrived just as they played the last number, so we didn't have them accompany us on our walk. The house is right on the edge of the village and adjoins one of our regular walk routes.

The band looked great, all dressed up in Tracht - Dirndl & Lederhosen.
