Trouble with the knob

Last month I blipped our teapot lid and replacing the knob with a smart chrome plated brass one, and a SilS revelation of why teapots knobs are usually plastic.
 
Since that I have discovered another problem with a brass knob.  It’s heavy, and you have only to put the lid on the pot a bit off centre, and see what happens . . .  That’ll do for a Saturday.
