Crinan Canal
A beautiful warm day
We went to my granddaughter’s church in the morning where my wife met someone who, as teenagers, they went to the same church in Coatbridge - 60 years ago!
After lunch we went to the Crinan Canal where my granddaughter’s husband I walked 3.5 miles to the end while my wife and Granddaughter drove to the end.
It was a superb walk and nice and warm with a good chat together. The end of the Canal was busy with lots of boats coming and going. The Canal serves a a ‘short cut’ between the Inner Hebrides and Loch Fyne and on to the River Clyde, by-passing the Mull of Kintyre.
