Purple Haze

We saw J’s brother and partner then went for a walk on Ilkley Moor - dodging the rain! The heather was glorious and fabulous views across Wharfedale
A young woman with purple dyed hair and shoes coordinated very well with the heather, - I can see a purple bearded man’s face in the thumbnail - do you?
We walked up passed White Wells, new to me. How could I not have clocked before that Ilkley was a fashionable spa town in the 19th century famous for the purity of it’s waters? The original well and plunge pool are still there to see.
Got back - roast chicken in the oven and went for a swim and shower before dinner. Hopefully we will have hot water when the gas engineer comes on Tuesday
