….hydrangea?

We went for a walk in Mountstewart this morning, it being a lovely soft day. I spotted this lace-cap hydrangea and if you look closely you’ll see that it has a double set of petals. I thought it was beautiful!

Much excitement, then, in the afternoon as the Ards Man spotted a pal sailing north up the Irish Sea, bringing his brand new Halberg-Rassy yacht back to Scotland.

Even more exciting was when Marine Traffic showed them turning sharply to port to enter Belfast Lough! Yes, they were headed for Bangor Marina!

So the AM has gone dashing over with a bottle of fizz to welcome the sailors to Norn Iron. I’m hoping he might wangle me a tour of the new boat tomorrow!
