Day 6 Level 4 Lockdown

Not very far along the road from where we live we spotted this “Rock Farm”, so that became one part of my blip.  The koala bear on a gate was quite a lot further on in Kohimarama, so it became the second part.

It was announced today that the whole of NZ will stay in Level 4 until midnight on Friday, but Auckland, being the centre of the outbreak, will remain in Level 4 until midnight next Tuesday. There are now 107 confirmed cases, with 7 people in hospital. Apparently the outbreak is becoming increasingly defined, which is a good thing.  The numbers are expected to peak by the end of the week and then, fingers crossed, start to fall. Moving down to Level 3 is dependent on that happening.
