Day 7 Level 4 Lockdown

Today’s blip is of some very precisely manicured trees behind an equally manicured wall, a blossom tree in front of a palm tree, and some interesting sculptural plants - we have no idea what they are!

There are now 148 confirmed cases, and the Government is warning it will get worse before it gets better.

The Covid Response Minister, Chris Hipkins, caused great merriment yesterday when he inadvertently talked about people getting out to “spread their legs” instead of “stretch their legs”.  It has given everyone in NZ a good laugh, with some hilarious memes going viral and has even made it into the international press.  He did acknowledge that no doubt the media would have some fun at his expense, so I think he’s taking it in good humour.
