Seedhead

We were visiting friends today and I was expecting a sunny day.  The sun never really came through but it didn't prevent us from enjoying the company of our friends who we hadn't seen for over two years.  They have a very large garden with a wonderful assortment of trees, flowers, fruit and vegetables. The type of garden that would mean you would have numerous choices of what to blip each day.  I was taken by the textures, shapes and colour of this poppy head.

We had coffee and cake, wandered around the garden, had a late lunch and then went for a walk before returning for tea and more cake.  A lovely day out.
