coast to coast

Yesterday I was on the South Coast of England with Sarah and today I am on the beach at Portobello with Luke.

Today's train journey was in complete contrast to the one I had took Saturday. Fast, clean trains with loads of space, most passengers wearing masks. The scenery was stunning and the train arrived in time at Edinburgh Waverley, where Luke was there to meet me. We walked all the way to Portobello (almost 4 miles), stopping on the way for vegan ice cream. Tonight we had pizza on the beach, with a lovely sunset.

I was pleased to hear that Mum was discharged this evening and is now at home.

Think I shall sleep well tonight :-)
