Eye Candy

Sunny and humid all day. Up early to get to our semi-annual dental cleaning/check at 8:30 am. Both of us got good reports. Hubby had broken a tooth right before we went to WV. The dentist was able to simply file down the uneven area. On the way home, we stopped at an Amish market and bought corn and squash. Hubby also bought me a gorgeous flower arrangement. It has two cream colored dahlias like the one pictured, each are 7 inches in diameter! The zinnias were beautiful as well. Not sure what that lavender flower is but the arrangement has that color and some white ones. The owner does not sell those plants, just grows them for arrangements. The plant in the bottom right is another type of ornamental pepper. My daughter got the one I blipped a few weeks ago from the same shop. The morning glory is from my garden. Hubby had grass to cut here and at church. We could bale the clippings from our lawn, so glad to have it looking manicured again. After blowing off the driveway and sidewalk and showering all the grass off himself, he is now taking a well deserved nap. While he was at church, I tidied up the house and did a look-see of our property. We must have had a windy storm while we were in WV. There was a huge oak branch that fell next to our garden fence as well as many smaller branches. I helped hubby pick up those mowing hazards. Then I cleaned up the mess the kitties made including scrubbing both floors on hands and knees. Good thing we love them. The pediatrician thinks River has Roseola, Chase has pink eye and Mack is having trouble eating due to pains in her chest cavity. Kristen is trying to find someone to x-Ray Mack’s chest but so far the wait is at least five hours. So I guess neither grand is 100% yet. Thanks for dropping by. I am trying to read your journals from last week now that we have internet again. “Happiness held is the seed; Happiness shared is the flower.”– John Harrigan
