Light at the end of the alley
In recent years the desire for more culture is gaining ground here. We aren’t a complete desert. We have the superlative BSO (Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra), based in the Poole Lighthouse* (“ houses a symphonic concert hall, mid-scale theatre, small-scale studio theatre, independent cinema, art galleries, and function room spaces”), and the unique and amazing Russell Cotes Museum & Art Gallery https://russellcotes.com/
And of course, not to forget,‘The Giant’ Art Gallery which has only just opened it’s doors.
Now in keeping with the times, we have several examples of cool street murals. It was a pleasant surprise to discover the art blipped as I looked down this Boscombe. Tiny compared to the other master-pieces around, but a treat nevertheless.
Bought a couple of things for dinner (E joined us) in Aldi & The Plant Hustler (vegan blue cheese), and bread of course at the Polish shop.
E has left, all cleared away. Now can’t
stop yawning, so shall switch off. Good Night
