Summer’s Back

Seemed a good day to go out. So collected Mr B after tennis, and drove the 20mns to Poole. Found on-street parking not far from the Quay.

Sunny with blue skies and a fresh breeze. Was a little too hot for me early afternoon, so walked in the shade. Returned sandals to Mountain Warehouse (purchased on-line, too small). And checked out Primark. Walked down the High Street, and along the newly pedestrianised section in the Old Town.

Lovely to see how eateries have taken advantage of the warmer weather and our desire to eat outside. Adds so much to the atmosphere.

Ended up on the terrace of the Hotel du Vin, for a refreshing Aspall cider. Luckily got back to the car with a minute to spare – no idea how 3 hours passed so quickly.
