NEIGHBORS

Tonight I went outside, & heard voices.
This scene is what I saw. This is Rocky,
the Beagle, who is Angus’ best buddy & my neighbor, Elise. She comes over to feed the goldfish in the fountain, & Rocky likes to jump up & watch them eat.

They were just sitting on my front steps,
having a visit. Such a lovely surprise to
see them.

Our neighborhood is all abuzz because a young brown bear has been sighted in various yards. It eats fruit, raids gardens, & turns over garbage cans; but harms no one. Just to be safe, I won’t walk Angus alone for awhile.
