Day 7 of lockdown (Broadbean flowers)
"Working hard for something we do not care about is called stressed,
Working hard for something we love about is called passion"
Today was a quiet day at the home front. This is my best photo for the day. We planted our small plot of gardens with vegetables during autumns (May/June) this year along with all the winter vegetables like bok choy, broad beans, broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts as we know so well that the cost for veggies in NZ are very high during winter time. We have harvested and enjoyed the bok choy cooked with mince and pasta. They were so delicious now we are waiting for the rest of the vegetables to come into fruition. So happy to see the flowers on the broad beans in the last few days coming through, however I am thinking this probably should have been planted in the springs.
Broad bean flowers are so beautiful.
