Pollinator

I met with a fellow archaeologist from the university today for a field trip over Iping Common as part of her PhD research.  Her two dogs, a Border terrier and elderly Yorkshire terrier accompanied us, which was an added bonus. When I got back, I spent a little time with the bees in the garden. As a long-time bee enthusiast, I've been somewhat excited to find that our back garden is 'bee central' at this time of year: they are all over the fuchsia and petunia bushes in great numbers.
