A thing of beauty

As a small boy I longed for one of these. Not a huge number were made, and only from 1949 to 1954. One was auctioned at Bonhams in 2016 for over £300,000.

This fixed head coupé dates from 1953. The DVLA thinks it's red, but if you want to see a red Jag watch Inspector Morse.  This one's brown.

Anyway, I still fancy it.
