Sigh ....

Her flight was delayed by 30 minutes. They wouldn't let me go through security with her (JetBlue has determined that FOURTEEN year olds are old enough to travel alone ... considered adults as far as flying goes ... can you believe that?!!!) but they DID let her skip the humongous line waiting to go through security and do the Express line instead and I got to stay with her in line. She went through security like a pro (with only one little last minute shout from me to remember to pull out her bag of liquids) and arrived safely in MA at 7:15 ish. I will miss her like crazy. Especially tomorrow. :( And I'm still not quite sure why she'd want to leave THIS for all that cold air and snow anyway!
