Family resemblance!

Did a huge double-take today, when I saw that our cat Ziggy had apparently had four kittens in nextdoor's old greenhouse - two grey, one black and one ginger! It wasn't Ziggy, of course, but she’s definitely related to them.

The record for the number of feral kittens at any one time nextdoor currently stands at eleven. The mummy cats always seem so proud of their babies and look after them very well. My neighbour makes sure they're all kept fed and healthy, socialises the kittens and finds them good homes, then has the mummies spayed (if she can catch them!) but there still seems to be a never-ending supply of little balls of fur.

These ones look very healthy and are very lively and playful. Anyone want a kitten... or four?
