Keeping The City Clean...

Council workers get stuck into cleaning the city centre streets. I can't imagine how much rubbish is generated on our streets each day and it must be a logistical nightmare to keep on top of. I'm generalising, but in a society that does so much to recycle its rubbish, I'm always amazed at how we carelessly drop litter, fag-ends, gum etc. onto our streets. I see all ages doing it and I don't intend to rant, preach or moralise but give it a thought eh?
