Its the Way It Is

Day in Dublin

The weather in Dublin is ideal at the moment. And after swimming and a walk, I took the bus into The Fair City as I wanted to see an exhibition.

Main blip is an old Dublin institution and although this might not be of interest to many, take a look at this link and you will hear and see a bit of ‘the old ways’. It is closed now and sadly sold to developers grrrr

First extra is Trinity College being photo bombed by Dublin Bus (fun photo).

The exhibition was in the Gallery of Photography in Temple Bar titled Martin Parr’s Ireland. It is well worth a visit. He photographed country customs and street scenes. He lived in Ireland for a while and the extras give some explanation. The Bantry one is for the West Cork blippers - howayis down there

I had a delicious plate of spaghetti and an eggcup of wine and sat in the sun watching the crowds passing

A day in Dublin is hard to beat especially when the sun is shining

(I better go easy on the extras, I’m nearly out of them and it’s still only August tsk)
